The city to host the 2014 SEP 72 Alumni reunion is Delhi, India.
Congrats to Anil, Sashi, Dinesh, and Venkat. More news will follow shortly.
The picture is the Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi. It epitomises 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind
So far we have two contestants to host the 2014 alumni reunion:
-Brussels, Belgium (Pedro Aguiar and Andy Wilson)
-Delhi, India (Anil Parab, Sashi Sharma, Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Venkat Rao)
Let me know if there is anyone else interested in hosting so that we can proceed with voting.
Would you be interested in hosting the 2014 SEP 72 reunion? If yes, please let me know and I will send a second email to the class by March 2014 with the cities of the candidates that are interested. Then by April we should target to finalize the city.
The dates were discussed with the participants of the 2013 reunion and almost all agreed that our next reunion should be the last week of October, as this coincides with the school breaks.
All the best,

The Itinerary for our reunion is as follows:
- Thursday 24th evening: Informal drinks and dinner in local restaurant (Irish Village or Sofitel Palm Hotel). Please let me know which option you prefer. The Irish Village is in the center of Dubai and the Sofitel Palm Hotel is outside the city. Ahmad will go with the majority.
- Friday 25th morning : Workshop at Millennium plaza hotel dubai (The Outthinker Process) can run either full day or half day (again please let me know your prefer option). Ahmad will go with the majority.
- Saturday 26th /Sunday 27th: Tourism to be organised by us. Open to any suggestions
It seems that there are various options for accommodation and many of you that already know the area have chosen on your own through different booking engines. Which makes sense, please be careful with the VISA issues, Ahmad told me that if you book your flight with Emirates they should take care of the VISA for you.
I was talking to Ahmad this morning and he recommends the following:
• To meet on Thursday evening (October 24th) at the Sofitel for a light dinner / drinks.
• Friday he will organize a meeting room and hold a presentation from Abu Dhabi University.
• Saturday and Sunday is for tourism activities. He can help those that don’t have plans already.
Class Notes for the next edition of Alumni News magazine as the deadline for submissions will be Monday 16 September 2013.
Class Notes are the section at the back of the magazine where classmates can share any updates about their careers, families, travel. We would be grateful if you could encourage your classmates to share their news, as well as send us your own. Please see below for more information about formatting of Class Notes and get in touch if you have any questions about this. I will send another reminder about submissions closer to the deadline.
Contributions should be written in a straightforward and factual manner. In order to make the notes fit in the space available the editor reserves the right to make stylistic changes and to edit copy; these edits will of course still be mindful of retaining the individual voices and characters.
If you would like a photograph to be featured in Class Notes, it should be sent as a jpeg with a minimum resolution of 200dpi. Please ensure your digital camera is set to the highest resolution in ‘settings’. If in doubt, send a selection of your highest quality images and cross reference the images with the copy you provide so we can easily identify which images belong to which copy. Please note we cannot guarantee to include all images owing to limited space within the magazine.
Please submit your news and photos to: firstname.lastname@example.org
